DIY Fabric Fashion Face Mask-pattern+sew-handmade
Fabric: (non Medical) Fabrics include woven fabric including cotton, silk, poly blends and linen "May" need a dart on chin line (try on and adjust fit as needed).
Also stretchy fabrics (no dart needed with stretch fabrics generally) stretch fabrics include Lycra and t-shirt fabric - basically any materials, remnants and recycled T'shirt, skirts, linens etc.
• Cut 2 pairs (4 pieces)
• Join the notches together at centre front and stitch the seams together on each pair.
• Open up these pieces and facing the finished sides together, Pin and stitch along the longest sides, leaving the narrow sides open.
• Turn inside out ( now the extra seam allowances are on the inside)
• Topstitch along top and lower edges.
• Tuck seam allowance inside along with elastic or fabric ties into the narrow ends – both top and lower edges. or
+ I've added in another way to add the ties below, sewn in white. If you add ties, that tie behind the head, youll be able to adjust the fit more otherwise try the the mask on and make the adjustments to fit as you go..
• Lastly top stitch .5 cm inside from edge to finish.
* "TOP" OF MASK has notches and is SLIGHTLY MORE POINTY
