Solo exhibitions include life@home, life.e.quatic , The Skin We Are In , ‘Rubber Gloves, Sharp Teeth and Other Pointy Bits’, ‘PIPE DREAMS’ .I’ve been a finalist in numerous sculpture exhibitions among them the Tamworth Textile Triennial 2014 + 2020. Finalist in the Gold Coast's Swell Festival in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2021 as well as a finalist in the Strand Ephemera, Townsville 2011 (C0-recipient of the Award for Artistic Excellence),Finalist in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2021 ( in 2017 recipient of the Award for Artistic Excellence) 2021 Finalist in group display, Solid Gold,Artists from Paradise - the inaugural exhibition of HOTA, Home of the Arts, Gold Coast.
life.e.quatic continues the aquatic theme woven throughout my sculpture, painted and wearable art pieces. works inspired by the natural aquatic environment and the creatures within. My interpretation of the complex structures, vivid colours and intricate patterning observed in a variety of marine creatures as well as a reference to man’s influence over his environment. A meshing as well as a symbolic representation of how coral and surrounding ecosystems, once autonomous must now cling to us in the hopes of maintaining their continued existence....

My e.quatic sculptures series contain reference to our fragile aquatic worlds as well a fascination with the patterns, textures and formations of the sea creatures within. These works incorporate synthetic materials, including freehand and machine 3D printed elements.

Erica regularly exhibits work nationally and internationally, solo exhibitions include ‘Rubber Gloves, Sharp Teeth and Other Pointy Bits’ displayed at the Tweed Regional Art Gallery, PIPE DREAMS displayed at the Gold Coast City Art Gallery. As well as finalist in numerous exhibitions among them, the Swell Sculpture Festival, the 2nd Tamworth Textile Triennial, the Strand Ephemera & the Stan + Maureen Duke Art Exhibition in 2010 + 2011. Awards include, Highly Commended in the Sculpture in the Gaol 2012 and co-recipient of the Award for Artistic Excellence in the 2011 Strand Ephemera Exhibition as well as taking out the same award for her Work Visceral Bodies in the Strand Ephemera 2017 exhibition. Her sculpture work is in public and private collections, including National Centre for Prosthetics and Orthotics, La Trobe University (soft sculpture -Spare Parts).
